Shooter

Shooter

This puppy had the most personality out of all of the puppies in Story and Pedro's litter. When he was born, I named him Hercules, since he was the largest and strongest of all the puppies by a pretty good margin. He could easily shove all three other puppies out of the way in order to get to his mother for a meal. With the amount of nursing that he did, he grew much larger, much faster than the rest. He was a big ball of baby!

I think that Hercules was also the most beautiful of our puppies. At first, I had thought he would end up looking just like Pedro. He had the tan on his chest and neck and feet just like his father. However, instead of having black as his main coloring, he was more of a dark chocolate color. With his size, squishiness, and beautiful coloring, he was definitely the one that people cooed over the most when they came to my home.

After the initial adoption for Hercules fell through, I decided on another family that was interested in him. He was the first of the puppies to leave, and he went to a great home. They renamed him Shooter and sent me the above photo of him in his new home. I wish Shooter and his new family luck and happiness in their lives together!
